Synopsis

As Kermit the Frog once noted, it's not easy being green - especially if you look like a walking stalk of broccoli. Just ask Dr. Alec Holland, the compassionate scientist who can't get money-hungry Dr. Arcane to "leaf" him alone, resulting in an environmental disaster. Now, the crispy creature who calls himself Swamp Thing patrols a soggy but pristine waterland in Louisiana and watches over young Jim Kemp and his divorced stepmother, Tressa.

Based on an environmental comic-book hero of the 1970s.
